Oh,what a feeling...
Toyota Australia is recalling almost 26,000 of its Kluger and Lexus models due to a brake fluid problem which could lead to weaker braking power.
The move is part of a global recall of 1.53 million cars, the latest in a series of safety recalls involving millions of vehicles to hit the world's largest carmaker.
More than 17,500 Toyota Klugers and 8200 Lexus models are involved in the Australian recall.
The majority of vehicles need to be fixed for a problem with the brake master cylinder which could lead to weaker braking power, a Toyota spokesman in Tokyo has said.
Toyota Australia said there had been 77 cases of the fault - which involves a slow brake fluid leak - reported in the country.
A slow brake fluid leak from the brake master cylinder may result in the brake warning light illuminating on some Toyota and Lexus models, although the process could take years to develop, an Australian spokeswoman said.
There has only been one incident reported in Australia involving a Kluger but no one was injured.
