German government warns against using MS IExplorer

I only downloaded Chrome as a "spare" to use instead of IE.
In Firefox I go to a site and the pics don't show up, but in IE and Chrome they do (show up).
Must be an add-on or plug in or something that stops it in Firefox but I can't work it out.
If someone can give me the cure for that, I'd appreciate it. I have re-loaded Firefox to no avail. It only happens with the one site, which makes me wonder.

Maybe the host is in your adblock list or your hosts file.
 
In IE8 and FF3.5.5 they are fine.
In Opera 10.10 first there is no image just text: "image" then after a while it displays the images.

Microsoft knew of IE flaw since Sept 2009.
